July 30, 2021, at 8 pm, the ‘Rasos Radio’ presents episode 3 in the ‘Antistatika’ (Antistatics) series, introducing vinyl records produced by the Operomania company. The episode discusses ‘Bad Weather’ – not a common small talk topic but a performative sound-art event for a group of performers engaging with reconstructed Baroque theatre noise machines, which was conceived and directed by Arturas Bumšteinas (2017).
The show concludes will the broadcast of the full recording of this performance, which has been recorded and edited by the composer and released on vinyl in co-operation with Edition Telemark as ‘Bad Weather Long Play’ (2019).The host of the show, Veronika Janatjeva, talks to producer Ana Ablamonova (Operomania); metal and jewelry artist, designer of the Lithuanian National Museum Eimantas Ludavičius who has been involved with reconstructions of historic stage machinery; art researcher,
